Data Deletion Instructions

Introduction
At Electric Therapy Tattoo Studio, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of any data we may have collected from you.
What Data We Collect
Our website collects minimal data:
- Contact Information: Name, email, and phone number if you submit an appointment request or contact form
- Analytics Data: Anonymous website usage statistics (page views, browser type)
- Instagram Data: We do NOT collect or store any personal data from Instagram users. We only display public posts from our own Instagram business account (@electric_therapy_tattoos)
Instagram and Facebook Integration
If you previously logged in to our Facebook/Meta app or interacted with our Instagram integration, you can request deletion of any data associated with that interaction.
Important Note:
We do not store Instagram user data on our servers. We only retrieve and display public posts from our own Instagram account. If you want to remove data from Facebook/Instagram's systems, you should manage that directly through your Facebook/Instagram account settings.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data from our systems, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Us
Send an email to info@electrictherapy.be with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
Step 2: Provide Information
Include in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address or phone number you used when contacting us
- A brief description of what data you want deleted
Step 3: Verification
We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure we're deleting the correct person's data. This protects your privacy and prevents unauthorized deletion requests.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once we process your request, we will send you a confirmation email within 30 days.
Data Retention
After receiving your deletion request, we will:
- Delete your contact information from our systems within 30 days
- Remove you from any email lists
- Anonymize any analytics data that may contain identifiable information
Please note: We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records for tax purposes).
Facebook/Instagram Data
To delete data from Facebook or Instagram's systems:
- Facebook: Go to Settings > Apps and Websites, find "electrictherapy.be" and click "Remove"
- Instagram: Go to Settings > Security > Apps and Websites, find "electrictherapy.be" and revoke access
